Prayer

God of humility,
 you entrusted St. Joseph with the care of your Son.
 Through his steady hand and humble heart,
 he helped form Jesus in compassion and love.

Grant us the courage to listen as Joseph did,
 patiently and prayerfully,
 seeking your will above our own.

Teach us to choose mercy over resentment
 and reconciliation over revenge.

Through the intercession of St. Joseph,
 help us become instruments of your quiet peace in the world.
